GovoriAI is an AI language tutor that practices real conversations with you — and actually corrects your mistakes. Not just a chatbot: every response includes error analysis, grammar explanations, and translation. Supports 10 languages with voice input and AI-powered speech output. The system tracks your progress, adapts to your level, and builds a personal knowledge profile. Speak, make mistakes, get corrected — that's how you actually learn.

Hey Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Anna, the solo founder of GovoriAI. Here's the problem I was trying to solve: most language apps teach you vocabulary and grammar, but when it's time to actually speak — you freeze. Real conversation practice with a native speaker is expensive and hard to schedule.
So I built GovoriAI — an AI tutor that has real conversations with you and actually corrects your mistakes.
What makes it different:
🗣️ 10 languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Russian
✍️ Every response is structured: dialogue + error analysis + grammar explanation + translation
🎤 Voice input + AI speech output — real speaking practice, not just texting
📊 Progress tracking and personal knowledge profile
🧠 Adapts to your level — gets harder as you improve
I built this solo using Python/Flask, Cursor, and Claude Code. The AI correction logic went through multiple prompt iterations to make sure explanations are actually helpful, not just "that's wrong."
Tech stack: Python, Flask, MySQL, Redis, OpenAI API, Gemini API, Docker, Nginx.
If you're learning a language or building AI products — I'd love to hear your thoughts! What language would you practice first?

This looks really useful, especially the mistake correction part since most apps just let you babble. One thing I'd love to see is a quick "review my last 5 mistakes" button you can tap before starting a conversation, so old errors stay fresh and you can actually feel yourself improving over time instead of just chatting and hoping it sticks.
