Hi Product Hunt! 👋 I often attend large networking events and meet a lot of people. But I’ve had my fair share of awkward "Wait, what was their name again? What do they do?" moments with people I’d actually met before. I built WhoWhere to solve this exact problem—a quick, simple way to log who you met, where, and what you talked about, so you can recall it in seconds when you need it. Bringing this idea to life was made possible thanks to AI. What used to take months of heavy coding took a fraction of the time with vibe coding and AI assistance. But while AI is amazing, it definitely took plenty of trial and error! My biggest challenges were actually the hands-on setup that AI couldn’t automate: Setting up Stripe for paid tiers: Buying domains, setting up a virtual address, and navigating Stripe’s complex UI was a workout in itself. Security & Global readiness: Mid-development, an engineer friend posted on social media about their service getting hit by a massive DDoS attack from overseas. Since I’m aiming for a global audience with WhoWhere, I immediately integrated Cloudflare to protect against cyber threats. Extra work? Absolutely, but totally worth it! 😂 This is my very first time launching a paid service on my own. AI saved me from writing every line of code from scratch, but overcoming all the real-world operational hurdles was the real adventure. I’d love for you to give it a try and share your thoughts!
