TruSec is the first purpose-built AI answer engine for cybersecurity research. It combines live threat intelligence, vulnerability research, IOC analysis, and web investigation in one workspace, helping security teams move from a question to evidence-backed, actionable findings in minutes. In our evaluations, TruSec also outperformed leading frontier LLMs on SOC-focused benchmarks, demonstrating the value of AI built specifically for cybersecurity.
How did GPT-5.6 change the ambition or scope of what you shipped?
Maker
GPT-5.6 expanded TruSec from a specialized security answer engine into a more ambitious, end-to-end cybersecurity research platform. The biggest change was not just greater intelligence, but the ability to use the right model for each job. Sol powers our most complex investigations, multi-step reasoning, and synthesis across threat intelligence. Terra handles everyday security research and analyst workflows with a strong balance of capability, speed, and cost. Luna supports fast, high-volume tasks such as routing, extraction, classification, and enrichment.
Together, the three models let us deliver deeper investigations without making every interaction slow or expensive. This made it practical to broaden TruSec’s scope while keeping the experience responsive and scalable—something that would have required major compromises with a single-model architecture.

Hi Product Hunt!
I am Ashwath, Founder of TruSec.
Having worked in cybersecurity for a long time, one problem I kept running into was how fragmented security research had become even after the recent advancements in AI.
General-purpose LLMs and agents help with summarization, but they often lack security-specific context, reliable access to live threat data, transparent sourcing, and the ability to conduct a structured investigation. Analysts are still left validating answers, jumping between search engines, threat-intelligence feeds, vulnerability databases, vendor blogs, and reports.
That frustration inspired us to build TruSec: the first purpose-built AI answer engine for cybersecurity research.
With TruSec, security teams can investigate threats, analyze IPs and domains, research vulnerabilities and campaigns, and get evidence-backed answers with sources - all in one place. Instead of simply generating an answer, TruSec helps analysts gather evidence, connect findings, and turn research into actionable conclusions.
We’re excited to launch TruSec today and would love to hear what you think. What investigations, data sources, or workflows should we build next?
