1. What inspired us to build this? We didn’t discover this problem through market research—we paid for it directly. I lost $500K in EU contracts purely due to compliance paperwork, not because of price or quality. That painful loss became the spark for CompliVibe. 2. What problem were we trying to solve? Over 3,000 SaaS companies are exposed to massive EU AI Act fines today, and most don't even know it yet. With major enforcement taking effect, potential fines reach up to €35M or 7% of global turnover. Existing point-solution compliance tools are fragmented, expensive, and leave huge coverage gaps. We built CompliVibe to be the all-in-one trust layer AI companies build on—unifying AI governance, risk, security, observability, and audit-ready trust reporting mapped simultaneously to the EU AI Act, DPDP, ISO 42001, NIST AI RMF, SOC 2, and the Colorado AI Act. 3. How did our approach evolve while working on this launch? My co-founder, Saransh Jha (who brings 12+ years of enterprise operations experience from Genpact and Concentrix), and I learned a critical lesson from my first company: build with the customer and prove demand early. Instead of building in a silo, our process evolved around real-world friction. We shifted from creating just another compliance automation checklist to engineering a full-stack Command Center that turns complex, multi-framework compliance into a competitive advantage and growth engine.
