the on device privacy angle is really compelling and the smart search sounds handy. one thing that would make me actually switch though is adding a way to back up my entire library to an encrypted external drive, so even without the cloud i have a recovery option if my phone ever gets lost or damaged
@ercanukyg That's a really really great idea ercanukug . We will make sure to add these features in ASAP. Thank you for the suggestion.
Privacy-first on-device AI is exactly what I've been wanting for my photo library. One thing that would make it a daily driver for me is granular face recognition control, like being able to name someone and have the app only group that person's photos locally without ever suggesting tags I didn't approve.
@esmancebacjo1f It is already there in the app. Thank for your comment.
honestly the on-device angle is really cool, but one thing that would push this further for me is letting me sort or filter by who is actually in the photos, like grouping by person the way some cloud galleries do. right now smart search is great, but if you have thousands of pics and want all the ones with a specific friend or family member together it would save so much scrolling.
@cmelih282 Hey,thanks for your review. First of all sorry if I misunderstood your comment,i think you are requesting the features. The features is already in the app. In smart Search you can do "@person_name_1 and @person_name_2" then it will show you top result images and videos that contains both persons. Or you can access all persons media files under "Intelligent" in albums tab.
Totally sold on the on-device angle, privacy is huge. One thing that would make it a daily driver for me is a smart shared album feature, where you and a few friends or family can each contribute photos to a private album with facial recognition grouping that works fully on-device across everyone's devices. Would really set it apart from the cloud dependent alternatives out there.
@sefa1270776 We are working and finding the best way to do a sync album with family and friends.
