Hi Product Hunt! I built Live Interpreter because a powerful idea can move an entire room and still leave one listener behind simply because of language. Human interpretation is valuable, but it is often difficult to arrange for small meetings, classes, community events, worship services, and international conversations. The goal was to make interpretation voice-first and immediately usable: speak naturally, then let listeners hear the meaning while also seeing source and translated captions. The public web version works without installation, while the Mac version adds per-application audio capture, flexible audio routing, and a shareable dual-caption window. I built the product with Codex as my primary engineering partner, from requirements and architecture through React, Electron, Objective-C/Core Audio, PHP, Node.js, tests, security review, packaging, and production deployment. Where would real-time interpretation be most useful for you?

I m preparing to launch Live Interpreter on July 23.

It turns live speech into low-latency interpreted audio and captions. The web version works without installation, and the Mac app can also capture audio from a selected app, screen, or media file.

I built it for meetings, classrooms, events, worship services, and multilingual communities but I would like to learn from real use cases before launch.
