Shumai is an open source platform for uploading creative files, managing projects, collecting precise feedback, sharing work, and collaborating with AI agents, all in one simple creative-first workspace.
Finally tried the upload flow and it handled a messy PSD without choking, which is more than I can say for most tools. The AI feedback step actually flagged the right layer on the first pass too.

Been looking for something that lets me drop files and get actual timestamped feedback without juggling three apps. Tried it on a video cut and the comment pinned right to the frame, which was a small but surprisingly useful touch.

Love the idea of integrating AI agents directly into the creative workflow, that's genuinely useful. One thing I'd love to see is a version history timeline view for each uploaded file, so I can scrub back through iterations visually and compare changes side by side instead of digging through comments to figure out what changed between v3 and v7.
Would love to see a timeline view of file versions with side by side diffs, makes it way easier to track changes when iterating on creative work with a team.
uploaded a couple of design files and was surprised how clean the feedback threads felt. the AI agent collaboration is a really interesting angle, curious to see where it goes.
