Helium stands out because it treats ecommerce growth as one connected buying flow.

The strongest use case for me is the gap between a shopper landing on the site and actually buying. A lot can break there: search results can feel flat, product order can stay generic, bundles can make the user do too much work, and teams usually need different tools to fix each piece.

Helium brings that closer together. It helps brands think across product discovery, merchandising, search, bundling, CRO, and paid-intent signals in one system.

The most useful part is that it focuses on real buying problems: helping users find the right products faster, reducing decision effort, guiding higher-value baskets, and making the store respond better to shopper intent.

That feels much more useful than another dashboard that only reports what already happened.

What needs improvement

The product vision is strong, but the category is still new and broad, so the biggest improvement would be clearer use-case packaging.

The product will be easier to understand if Helium shows more concrete flows like:

how search changes for different shopper intent
how a bundle flow reduces time to purchase
how product ranking changes for paid traffic
how teams can test adaptive experiences
how the AI agents move from insight to action

More public case studies, before/after examples, and vertical-specific demos would make the value easier to grasp quickly.

vs Alternatives

I’d put the alternatives into a few buckets: search tools, recommendation apps, CRO tools, analytics platforms, and personalization or CRM tools.

The issue is that many of them solve one part of the problem well, but the buying flow still stays split. Search works in one place, merchandising in another, analytics somewhere else, and paid signals sit outside the site experience.

Helium felt more interesting because it connects those pieces around the shopper’s intent. The use cases around adaptive product discovery, smarter recommendations, guided bundles, and agent-led growth work feel much closer to how ecommerce teams actually need to operate.

What stood out to me about Helium is that it is trying to solve a very real ecommerce problem that a lot of tools still treat in pieces.

Most brands handle search, merchandising, CRO, bundles, and paid growth in separate systems, even though the shopper experiences all of that as one flow. Helium feels built around that gap.

The part I find strongest is the use-case depth. It is not just “AI for ecommerce.” It is much more about helping brands reduce time to purchase, improve product discovery, guide multi-product buying better, and stop losing intent between click and checkout.

That makes it more interesting than a generic dashboard or personalization layer.

What needs improvement

The vision is strong, but because the product spans a lot of connected growth surfaces, the challenge will be making the value feel immediately clear to new users.

The more Helium can show concrete before/after use cases, category-specific flows, and clearer product proof around outcomes, the stronger it will feel.

I think the product will land best when people can see exactly how it changes the buying experience, not just how broad the system is.
