Tried forking a chapter halfway and the branch tree stays clean, which is the part every other reader bot messes up. The SillyTavern card import worked first try too, no reformatting needed.
@zgreitimee8r Thanks - the branch tree is the part we rewrote the most. Forks never touch the original text, so it stays clean however deep you go. Glad the ST card import behaved.
Imported one of my old chapter drafts and the branching at a single paragraph actually kept the original intact, which is the part I expected to break. The spoiler-free chat with side characters is more fun than I want to admit.
@kapkac87259 Testing it on your own draft is exactly the run I hoped someone would try. Side characters only know what you have read so far - that constraint turned out to be where the fun lives.
Forking the plot at any paragraph is genuinely addictive, I lost an hour branching three different endings off chapter two. SillyTavern card import worked first try too, which surprised me for a BYOK setup.
@saziye87981 An hour and three endings off chapter two - best thing I have read today. If any BYOK provider acts up, tell me which one; we wire 60+ of them but real usage always finds the weird corners.
