I'm Abiot, the person behind RankEcho launching today.
The short version: when buyers ask ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, or Google AI Overviews "best tool for X," most visibility platforms can only tell you whether you appeared. RankEcho closes the loop it finds the prompts where engines cite competitors instead of you, generates a deploy-ready fix for each gap, then re-tests the same prompt after you ship and shows whether the citation moved. Evidence, not dashboards.
Ask me anything how the audit works, how the proof loop measures movement, pricing, the stack (it runs on Cloudflare), or why I built it this way. Blunt questions welcome; I'd rather fix a real objection than collect polite ones.
Hey Product Hunt 👋
I'm Abiot — the builder behind RankEcho. I’m going to be completely transparent with you: I am launching today with no marketing budget, no email list, and no big-name Hunter backing me up — just my curiosity, and the evidence. The upside for you is that every reply in this thread today comes from the person who built it.
This started with a problem I kept running into on my other projects. When you ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI "what's the best tool for X," it names a short list. If you're on it, buyers find you. If you're not, you're invisible — and you often don't even know it's happening. So I went looking for a tool to fix it, and found a strange gap: almost everything in this space monitors. It tells you your visibility score dropped. It shows you a nice looking dashboard. But it doesn't tell you what to change, and it definitely doesn't tell you whether the change worked.
Measurement without action — a thermometer, not a treatment.
That's what RankEcho is built to close. It's three steps:
Find — see exactly where AI answers cite your competitors instead of you, across engines and the questions your buyers actually ask.
Fix — get a specific, deploy-ready change for each gap, not just a diagnosis.
Prove — re-run the exact prompt after you ship the fix, and see whether the citation actually moved.
That last step is the whole point, and it's the part I couldn't find anywhere else. Anyone can tell you you're invisible in AI search. RankEcho shows you what to do about it — then proves it worked, with a before-and-after you can hand to a client or a boss.
It runs on Cloudflare, and every audit runs across all five engines — ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews — on every plan. There's a free audit so you can see your own gaps before deciding anything. Next on the roadmap: automated fix deployment — approved changes landing as pull requests in your own repo. If you'd want to be a founding design partner for that, say so below.
Launch gift for hunters: code OMXYERGS — 20% off any plan for your first 12 months.
I'd genuinely love your feedback — what's confusing, what's missing, what you'd want it to do. And if you try the free audit, tell me what it surfaced about your site. I'll be here all day answering everything. Thanks for taking a look 🙏
— Abiot
Love the close the loop angle, way more useful than the dashboards I have now. One thing that would make it stick for me is tracking competitor citation share over time on a simple chart so I can see if my fixes are actually moving the needle against them, not just whether my own score ticked up.
@cdereceli31520 Good news and honest news. The good: part of this exists today — the Analysis Studio has a "Share of voice vs named rivals" chart that tracks you against captured competitors across runs (it needs two-plus runs before the lines appear, so it grows as your audit history does). The honest: per-competitor citation-share trend lines — watching a specific rival's share fall as yours rises after a fix — isn't fully there yet, and you've just articulated it better than my roadmap note did. It's on the list as of this comment. This is exactly the feedback I launched for; thank you.
Really like that it doesn't just tell you you're missing from AI answers but actually gives you a deploy ready fix. Ran it on a test prompt and the re-run step is genuinely useful, closes the loop most tools leave open.
@astambuse84875 thank you, that's the best kind of feedback on launch day. One tip since you've got a prompt in the loop: leave it tracked. AI answers vary between runs, so presence is a rate rather than a fixed position, and the scheduled re-tests are where the picture gets real. If that prompt ever flips to a citation, an alert email lands in your inbox with the engine and the evidence — my favorite email the product sends. Curious what the audit surfaced overall if you're up for sharing.
Honestly the "prove" step is what sold me, since most rank trackers just yell at you when you drop. Liked that it actually loops back and shows if your fix moved the needle.
@azat862271 That gap is literally why this exists — I kept getting told my score dropped and nobody could tell me what to do about it or whether anything I tried worked. The mechanics behind "prove": the ship date freezes as a marker, and every re-test after it runs the identical prompt against that baseline, so movement is measured rather than vibed. Reported as correlation with controls, never a guarantee — but it's a before-and-after you can actually stand behind. Thanks for reading it closely enough to name the part that matters. Thank you for your feedback.
finally something that doesn't just show me a sad score and leave me hanging, the "re-run the prompt after the fix" part actually shows whether my changes moved the needle
@aysunparlat "A sad score and leave me hanging" is the most accurate description to the most of ai search visibility dashboard. Very true. That dead end is exactly what pushed me to build rankecho. In rankecho, the score ships with a ranked fix sequence with clear gap diagnosed by cause and priority, and the re-run isn't a one-off. The prove part is the one I want people to check out and provide their honest criticism, the one you have just appreciated. Thank you for checking rankecho, Aysun.
Ran it on a couple of prompts for our SaaS and actually got a deploy-ready fix I didn't have to rewrite. The before and after citation check is what sold me, since I can finally tell the team what worked.
@yavuzotmanujpr thank you. you're awesome. that is exactly what I wanted. Just people to try it and provide me their honest feedback and criticism.
