Hi Product Hunt! I’m William.
I built Alphadash because I invest across multiple sectors and found myself reading countless articles every day without being able to answer one simple question: What does this actually mean for my portfolio?
I realised the hard part isn’t generating information—it’s identifying the few drivers that truly matter. That’s why I built Alphadash around driver-based reasoning rather than generic news summaries.
I’d love your feedback:
• Would this fit into your investing workflow?
• When would you actually use it?
• What’s the biggest thing missing?

How does it handle assets or transactions it cant easily categorize, like crypto wallets or alternative investments, and does the analysis update in real time or on a delay?

@ayferlik8 Right now, we don’t support crypto wallets or alternative assets, as the focus is on equities. Data updates are based on the previous trading day, not in real time yet, but we plan to move toward more real-time updates over time.
We might look at adding support for things like Bitcoin ETFs in the future.

Great work! Really like how AlphaDash helps me quickly grasp what’s happening across my portfolio without information overload. Clean UI and genuinely useful. One suggestion: it’d be even better if you could support more ticker symbols (especially international markets) and include the original news source for each update so users can easily verify and dive deeper.

@enozil Thanks! Really appreciate the feedback. Glad you found the portfolio-level summary useful. Definitely planning to expand ticker coverage, and I agree source attribution is important—currently the app aggregates the news, but I’d like to surface the original sources so users can easily verify and read more.

Does the AI factor in my existing investment thesis or just run pure analysis on the holdings themselves, and can I push back on its reasoning when I disagree with the conclusion?

@ebubekirhh1n That’s a great point, how do you define your thesis today? Do you want Alphadash to simply respect your long-term view, or actually debate it when short-term narratives conflict?

Imported a small portfolio and the AI flagged a supply chain risk I hadn't even considered reading about. That one nudge alone made it worth trying.

@nihaln20560 Love hearing this, Alphadash’s best moments are the ones that surprise you with something you didn’t know to look for. Appreciate you giving it a try!

Finally something that cuts through the noise. Connected a few of my holdings and the "should I care" call was spot on, even flagged a news item I had completely missed.

love that the whole premise is about cutting through the noise instead of piling on more dashboards. the question at the end, “should I care,” is such a sharp framing. feels like the team actually thought about what investors are tired of.
