Finally a way to measure my PD without making an account or installing anything. The webcam method worked first try on my laptop and the whole thing felt private.
@mihriban1537007 Thank you! "Worked first try" is exactly what I was aiming for — the guided capture does a lot of silent work (head-pose checks, multi-frame burst) so you don't have to fiddle. And yes: no account, no app, ever.
Love how everything runs in the browser with zero uploads, that kind of privacy-first thinking is rare for vision tools and clearly took real effort to pull off.
@cosanalper66074 Really appreciate that! It did take some effort — running MediaPipe's face-landmark model entirely in-browser via WASM was the tricky part — but it means there's literally no upload path in the codebase. It's open source too, so anyone can verify that claim rather than take my word for it.
The fact that it runs entirely in the browser with no upload or app required is genuinely thoughtful, especially for something as privacy-sensitive as a face photo. The printable ruler fallback is a nice touch too.
@aylingullu82005 Thank you Aylin! That's exactly why I built it this way — a face photo is about as personal as data gets, and it never needs to leave your device to do this job. Glad the ruler fallback resonates too; camera-free options matter for privacy-sensitive folks most of all.
