Hey Product Hunt! π
I'm the maker of Build Cleverly.
The backstory: I kept having product ideas and asking ChatGPT "is this a good idea?" β and every time it said "Great idea! Here's why..." π
I needed something that would actually say NO. Something that digs through real community discussions and tells me if people are willing to pay β not just if the idea sounds cool.
So I built Build Cleverly.
The core insight: most idea validation tools give you a score out of 100. We give you a binary decision backed by evidence. Ship or don't. And if it's a Skip, we tell you WHY and suggest better directions.
The thing I'm most proud of is the WTP (Willingness to Pay) hard threshold. If we can't find enough people online explicitly saying they'd pay for this, the idea gets routed to Skip β regardless of how high other scores are. This one rule has saved me from building 3 things nobody would have paid for.
Would love your feedback on:
- The scoring methodology (fully transparent at /methodology)
- What platforms you'd want us to crawl next
- Any ideas you'd like us to validate right now
Free to try β 3 analyses on us. π

Curious how the AI scoring actually works when community feedback is split pretty evenly between ship and skip β does it lean on some weighted criteria or just surface the disagreement back to you?

Actually besides the community feedback, it analyzes 5 more aspects and then give a final comprehensive scoring. And I am also working to enable more evidence sources.

Finally a tool that tells me "skip this" before I waste three weekends on it. The community evidence angle feels way more honest than the usual hype-driven validation tools I've bounced off of.
