Hey PH! I built Business Hunter because I kept building things nobody wanted. This tool scans Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub and 5 more sources for real conversations where people ask for solutions that don't exist yet. Get a scored opportunity report in 2 minutes. No invented stats. Early bird: $19/mo (going to $49 at 25 subscribers). Happy to run a free report for your niche!

Hi Product Hunt! 👋
I'm Chido, the solo founder behind Business Hunter.
I built this after watching too many builders (myself included) spend months on products nobody wanted. The problem isn't coding anymore with AI, anyone can build. The real problem is knowing what to build before you commit months of your life to it.
Business Hunter scans Reddit, Hacker News, GitHub Issues and 15+ sources looking for real demand signals, then generates a full opportunity report: problem, TAM estimate, competitive analysis, MVP plan, and a step-by-step validation strategy.
The rule I enforce that nobody else does: every claim needs a real source URL. If the evidence is weak, the report says so — no fake "847 founders on the waitlist" type stats.

ran a report for my niche and it pulled up two pain points I hadn't noticed, the Reddit thread sources actually backed up the demand. scoring felt reasonable, not inflated. nice work.
@serafettin39697 That's exactly the kind of feedback that tells me it's working you already knew your niche and the report still surfaced something you missed. The "not inflated" part matters a lot to me. I've seen too many tools show a 94/100 demand score on literally anything. What niche were you researching, if you don't mind sharing?
Ran it on a niche I know well and the Reddit hits were spot on, especially seeing real complaints I'd missed. Two minutes felt accurate too, which is rare for these tools.
@erkan265497 Really glad the Reddit results held up against your own knowledge of the niche that's the test I care about most. The 2-minute thing was a deliberate choice; I didn't want it to feel like it was "thinking harder" by taking longer. What were the complaints you'd missed? Curious if they matched what you already suspected or were genuinely surprising.
