Hi Product Hunt! I'm Harsh, the creator of DetectAi. The inspiration for this came from a very real problem I kept seeing on campus and online: trust is rapidly disappearing. Students are terrified of being falsely flagged by generic AI checkers, artists are struggling to prove their work is human, and deepfakes are flooding social media. I realized that having 5 different tools for 5 different mediums (Text, Video, Audio, Images) was a complete nightmare. So, I spent the last few months building DetectAi a unified, multi-modal detection engine. Instead of just checking text, I integrated advanced models to catch Sora/Runway deepfakes, Midjourney/DALL-E images, and ElevenLabs voice clones all in one single, easy-to-use dashboard. The biggest technical challenge was optimizing our custom FastAPI backend on Azure to handle loading these massive AI models into memory simultaneously without crashing, but we finally got the architecture running flawlessly at 99.8% accuracy.
