Hi Product Hunt community! 👋 I’m a multi-disciplinary indie hacker. Over the past 20 years, I’ve jumped from 3D animation and cinematic VFX to running a physical design brand. The Solution: I got tired of losing my thoughts, so I coded WID for myself. It’s a dead-simple Chrome extension. You hit Alt + 1, type whatever raw thoughts are in your head in 0.5 seconds, and hit enter. Behind the scenes, AI parses the context and cleanly delivers it to your Google Calendar and Tasks. With the new era of Google Gemini’s personalization, I realized that feeding my Google ecosystem with these raw, unedited logs is the ultimate way to build my smart personal AI knowledge base. WID is 100% free and built with custom AI automation. After analyzing our initial launch, we realized we made a critical mistake: asking users to provide their own Gemini API keys. It was a massive onboarding barrier. We’ve removed that friction entirely.
