Hi Product Hunt!
I'm Marcel, the founder of Yaptxt.
The idea came from seeing how much time people spend typing every day whether it's customer support, moderation, writing, emails or documentation.
Existing speech-to-text tools often worked only inside one browser or one application. I wanted something that simply works everywhere.
Yaptxt lets you dictate into virtually any text field on Windows and Mac while supporting multiple languages, AI-powered transcription and custom voice macros.
We're still actively improving it, so I'd genuinely love your feedback.
What would make a speech-to-text app an essential part of your daily workflow?

@marcelmutΒ Congrats on the launch! π System-wide dictation is a huge time saver. Does Yaptxt support custom commands/macros for repetitive phrases or workflows?
Yes, Yaptxt already supports custom voice macros. You can create your own trigger words or phrases that instantly insert predefined text, signatures, templates, or any repetitive content into whatever application you're working in.
One feature we're especially excited about is shared team macros, which is already on our roadmap. The idea is that team leaders or administrators will be able to create and manage macro libraries that can be shared with their entire team. This makes onboarding easier and ensures everyone uses the same approved templates and responses.
We think this will be a huge productivity boost for customer support teams, moderators, sales teams, and anyone who relies on repetitive text every day.
Yes, that's actually one of Yaptxt's main goals. It works system-wide, so you can dictate into browser-based applications like Salesforce, HubSpot, Gmail, ChatGPT, Google Docs, and virtually any text field where you can normally type.
Since Yaptxt isn't tied to a specific browser or extension, you can use the same workflow across your entire system. If you have a specific Salesforce or HubSpot use case in mind, let me know I'd be happy to tell you how it would work.
