how does the AI actually decide what counts as risky, and can I tune the sensitivity or is it pretty fixed out of the box?
@berivanmuh7 Great question! So there are actually two things happening under the hood. The first is a baseline layer that's always running — it looks for classic phishing signals like urgency language ("verify your account immediately", "click here now"), lookalike domains, and sensitive data patterns like SSNs or credit card numbers in email content. That part is fixed, and I keep it that way on purpose — some things like PII detection shouldn't be something you can accidentally turn off.
The second layer is where it gets interesting. You can upload your own policy document — literally whatever compliance rules matter to your org — and the AI reads every incoming email against your specific rules, not some generic template. So if your school says "never discuss student grades over email" or your clinic has specific HIPAA language, you just put that in the doc, and the AI enforces it.
So sensitivity isn't a slider per se, but it's tunable through how strict or loose your policy doc is. Write tight rules → more flags. Keep it broad → fewer flags.
