Hi there! We built VoiceProof because synthetic voice has quietly crossed a line. Cloning someone's voice now takes seconds — but there's still no simple way for a real person to prove a voice is legitimately, verifiably theirs. Most tools today try to answer "is this AI?" after the fact. We wanted to flip the question: instead of chasing fakes, give the owner of a voice a way to certify it up front. VoiceProof issues a KYC-verified voice identity certificate. We tie a verified human identity (via Stripe Identity) to a biometric voiceprint, anchor the proof on-chain on Polygon, and mint it as a verifiable certificate. The result is portable: a voice actor, creator, or brand can point to one tamper-evident proof that says "this voice is mine — and here's who I am." The approach evolved a lot. We started out thinking "deepfake detector" and realized that's a losing arms race — detection erodes as models get better, but verified provenance doesn't.
