So I built **RepoSage** — a tool that lets you **chat with any public GitHub repository using AI**. Is code understanding becoming a bigger problem than code generation?

AI has made writing code dramatically faster.

But I've noticed a different challenge emerging: developers are spending more and more time understanding existing codebases, reviewing AI-generated code, and onboarding to unfamiliar repositories.
