Hey everyone 👋
I'm an HR professional, not a developer — most of my career has been in comp & benefits, HRIS, and payroll ops. Excel is the tool I live in every day, and the thing that always slowed me down wasn't the formula syntax. It was translating a messy real-world ask ("which employees are outside their salary band," "which invoices are 90+ days overdue") into something I could actually type into a cell.
So I built this: 50 prompts, organized into 8 categories (sales reporting, finance, HR ops, project management, customer analytics, marketing, exec reporting, and the "I don't know what this is called" bucket every job has). Each one is a fill-in-the-bracket prompt you paste into ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to get a working formula back — built around the actual scenario, not generic VLOOKUP trivia.
This is Vol. 2 of a two-part set. Vol. 1 covers core formula/cleanup/dashboard prompts; this one is built entirely around business scenarios people in finance, HR, sales, and ops actually hit.
It's $5 on Gumroad, instant download, no subscription. I'd genuinely love feedback — especially if there's a recurring Excel headache in your role I haven't covered, since I'm planning a Vol. 3 around the most-requested gaps.
Thanks for taking a look 🙏
