So I built Ghost Mic. It listens while you record and fact-checks you in real time. When you state something checkable, a card slides in — headline, context, clickable source — usually in under 2 seconds. You glance, correct yourself on air (or smugly confirm you were right), and keep talking. No bot in your call, no hotkey, no pasting transcripts into ChatGPT after the fact. What it does today: 🎙️ Live transcription while you speak ⚡ Fact-check, context, and definition cards in ~2 seconds, each with a source and confidence score 🔇 Tuned to bias toward silence — better to miss five cards than show one bad one 🔒 Audio processed in memory only, never written to disk It's a free beta and currently single-speaker — multi-host sessions and a "show prep" mode (episode notes → researched rundown) are next on the list.
