AI gift finder: up to 3 ranked picks for your budget

Top3Picks is an AI gift finder that also compares prices. Describe the person or the product and set a budget in your currency. It searches the web for current prices and reviews, then returns up to 3 picks ranked by value for money, each with a price, pros, cons and where to buy. The top two line up side by side. No affiliate links, no account needed. Free on iPhone and Android, with one ad per search.

Hi Product Hunt, Emon from Teamz Lab here š
We launched Top3Picks here in June. This is a refresh: the first version of this page promised things the app does not do, and I would rather fix that than leave it up.
What it does today (version 1.0.4 on iPhone and Android):
ā You type one sentence, like "birthday gift for dad who likes fishing" or "wireless earbuds", and set a budget and currency.
ā It searches the web for that sentence (plus Google Shopping listings in USD, GBP, EUR and 12 more currencies), and an AI model reads the results.
ā You get up to 3 picks, ordered by value for money. Each has a price (a range when stores differ), 2-3 pros, 1-2 honest cons, a 0-100 value score with a reason, and a confidence score that drops when the data is thin.
ā If only 2 options really fit, you get 2. No padding.
ā The top two line up side by side, and an "Also considered" list shows what was left out and why.
ā 159 currencies, set from your phone's region, and you can add your own. In markets like India, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Indonesia the search adds local marketplaces such as Flipkart, Daraz, Jumia and Tokopedia.
ā Filters: brands to prefer or avoid, condition (new, used, refurbished, open box), minimum rating, official warranty.
What it is not:
ā Not a price tracker. It shows the price when you search; there are no price-drop alerts.
ā Not a crawler of every Amazon review. It reads what the search returns, so check the final price on the store page before you buy.
ā Not paid by stores. There are no affiliate links and no paid placements, so nobody pays for a higher rank. One ad per search pays for the search instead.
ā No account needed. The app does use analytics and crash reports, and on iPhone it asks before using tracking for ads.
One question for you: what is the hardest gift you have ever had to find? Drop it below with a budget and I will run it through the app and reply with what comes back.
