Hey everyone 👋 I built RemoteX because I kept running into the same problem: needing to investigate or fix infrastructure remotely while away from my workstation. Most tools felt either too fragmented, too enterprise-heavy, or just “AI chat attached to a terminal”. So I started building something I personally wanted to use daily: an AI workspace for remote infrastructure operations. RemoteX now supports: • Linux + Windows servers • Kubernetes clusters • PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, Redis • SSH bastions/tunnels • monitoring, logs, remote files • desktop + mobile workflows • approval-based execution • local-first credentials One thing I care a lot about is keeping operators in control: * credentials stay on-device * no RemoteX proxy between you and infrastructure * every state-changing action requires approval Still improving it almost every day based on real-world usage and feedback 🙂 Would genuinely love thoughts from DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, and infra people here.
