Today we're launching PromptAI 360, and here's why I think this community will love it.
The product came from one moment: 11pm in Claude Code, typing the same prompt scaffolding ("as a senior engineer, given context X, fix the race condition in Y") for the 50th time that month. Every single time. From scratch.
If you've ever felt that, this is for you.
⌘⇧P anywhere on your Mac → rough text becomes a structured AI prompt → pasted back in two seconds. Cursor, Claude Code, Warp, VS Code, ChatGPT desktop, Mail, Notes — anywhere you can type.
Three reasons I'm genuinely excited:
1. Native-first. Every existing prompt enhancer (PromptPerfect, AIPRM, Magic Prompts) lives in a browser tab. PromptAI lives where developers actually work — outside the browser, in the editors and terminals they're already in.
2. Not vapor. The Chrome extension companion is already at 5.0★ with 5,000+ prompts enhanced. Today's launch is the desktop wedge into the same engine that's been live for 6 months.
3. The hard part is the engineering. The macOS accessibility pipeline (intercept ⌘⇧P globally, read highlighted text from any app, paste structured output back) took 3 rewrites of the permission handshake. That's the moat — and it's why this couldn't have been a Chrome extension.
Let's get the conversation going:
— What's the most repetitive prompt scaffolding you find yourself typing into ChatGPT or Claude?
— Which editor or app should we prioritize testing next?
— If you've tried it already — what surprised you (good or bad)?
