StudiesTimer: Pomodoro timer with AI tutor, study groups & habit streaks

I built StudiesTimer because every study/productivity app I tried had the same problem. Either it looked nice but barely had any useful features, or it had a million features but felt bloated, outdated, and hard to use. Students need both simplicity and powerful tools in one place. The biggest thing I realized is that most people quit studying because they feel alone and lose consistency. So instead of making just another Pomodoro timer, I focused heavily on social accountability. That’s why StudiesTimer has live study groups with chat, a global leaderboard, streaks, group competition, and shared study sessions that make studying feel less isolating. What started as a basic Pomodoro timer in October 2025 turned into a much bigger platform in only 7 months. We added an AI tutor, habit tracker, study plant, leaderboards, giveaways, and a creator program. The platform now gets 248K monthly visits, over 1 million Google impressions, and is growing around 55% month over month. Everything is completely free, works on any device, and doesn’t require sign-up to start studying. I’m also happy to talk about the technical side of things, including the Next.js + Django + Railway stack and the SEO strategies that helped grow the platform.
