I realized that many Bible passages can be difficult for children to truly understand because of the language, historical context, and complexity of the concepts. At the same time, I saw how powerful modern AI tools had become for adapting and explaining information in more accessible ways.
That inspired me to build BibleEasy: a tool that helps transform Scripture into age-appropriate stories and learning experiences for children while still preserving the meaning, tone, and theological fidelity of the original text and Christian tradition.
As I worked on the project, the process evolved from simply “simplifying Bible passages” into creating a more complete educational experience. I started focusing not only on readability, but also on engagement, reflection, and teaching support. That led to features like different storytelling styles, vocabulary explanations, reflection questions, AI narration, AI image generation for coloring and illustration, and quality evaluation.
A major part of the journey was finding the right balance between accessibility and faithfulness — making the Bible easier for children without losing the depth and integrity of Scripture.
