We built PDF to Markdown because most PDF extraction tools still leave you with a cleanup job. You can get text out, but the structure is often broken, headings collapse, lists turn messy, and tables become painful to reuse. That makes the output hard to drop into docs, notes, or AI workflows.
PDF to Markdown is focused on producing Markdown that is actually usable. The goal is to preserve document structure cleanly enough that you can edit it, version it, publish it, or send it straight into a RAG or LLM pipeline without spending another round fixing the format by hand.
