ClinDesk is an AI receptionist for clinics that runs entirely on the doctor's own Mac. It answers patient WhatsApp messages in the clinic's voice (hours, prices, directions, basic intake) and only wakes the doctor when a patient really needs them. The AI runs on Apple Silicon with MLX, so patient data never leaves the machine. No cloud, no third-party EHR, no subscription database in someone else's data center.

I built ClinDesk for a doctor running a small clinic in Mexico, whose entire front desk runs on WhatsApp. The pattern that drove me to build this: a patient asks "are you open Saturday?" while the doctor is mid-consultation. The doctor checks WhatsApp regularly, but not every five minutes, and by the time they surface from the appointment an hour later, the patient has already booked somewhere else.
Existing options either route patient chats through someone else's cloud (privacy mess) or pretend to be the doctor (uncanny, ineffective).
So ClinDesk runs entirely on the doctor's Mac. MLX serves a local LLM that reads every WhatsApp message, answers logistics in the clinic's voice (hours, prices, directions), and only pings the doctor's iPhone when something is actually clinical, with the patient's intake card already filled in. Co-Pilot mode lets the doctor approve every reply from the lock screen.
Patient messages never leave the Mac. No cloud, no third-party EHR. Bilingual EN + ES, bootstrapped Swiss sole proprietorship.
