Talk to a personal AI from the apps you already use —WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Signal, and more. The agent runs on your phone, so your data and conversations stay local. Plug in any model: 18 cloud providers or a local LLM. Pair the Aster companion app and your AI can take calls, send SMS, read notifications, and use your camera, mic, and files. 51+ bundled skills. Encrypted backup. Open on Android.

Hey hunters,
I'm Satyajit. Shipped and sold a product previously; this one's a personal obsession that kept growing.
The honest version of how it came together:
It started as a fork of OpenClaw, the open-source personal AI gateway. I spent months porting it to mobile — Rust rewrites for the bits nodejs-mobile couldn't handle, the whole agent runtime bundled into a single CJS that runs inside your phone's Node process. Channels, sessions, skills, plugins — all live on the device.
On top of that I built what I actually wanted from a personal AI:
- Plug in any model. API keys for 18 cloud providers, OR sign in with your existing ChatGPT / Claude / Codex subscription (no extra API cost), OR run a local LLM via Ollama / llama.cpp.
- Reach it where you already chat. WhatsApp, Telegram, Slack, Discord, Signal, Matrix, Nostr, and more.
- Aster — give the AI hands. Open-source companion app. The agent can take calls, send SMS, snap photos, read notifications, run on-device Python, and vibe-code from your phone — including testing or developing websites straight from the device.
- Flare — per-app notification rules: auto-reply to specific contacts, summarize work pings, ignore promos, forward urgent stuff. Runs locally with a full audit log.
- SMS Analyser — turn your inbox into structured intelligence (spending, bills, spam, phishing) without anything leaving the device.
Where it's at today: 1,000+ installs on Play Store, 700+ registered users, 250+ daily actives. Fully free — login is optional and only required for the features where I need to keep bad actors and rate limits in check.
Coming next: Gemma 4 support (the current build can't yet digest its context window — actively fixing). More Pre-Populated MiniApps.
A few privacy specifics, since I know the PH crowd asks: Aster is open source, the on-device runtime stays local, and your subscription keys never touch a server I run.

If you try it, drop a sharp critique below — I'll be in the comments all day. Most of what's on the feature list came from someone showing up and asking, and I'd like to keep doing it that way.
