Second Brain is a local desktop app that gives Claude Desktop persistent memory through MCP. It creates a personal database on your machine where you store contacts, customers, meeting notes, ideas, business data and scraped data. Then Claude reads and writes to it, with your permission, through normal conversation. Ask Claude about a customer and it pulls the answer from your records. Log a meeting and it saves the notes to your database. Look up an article, a competitor, a decision.

Hey Product Hunters š
We built Second Brain because I was tired of re-explaining my business to AI every single conversation.
I run three companies. Every time I opened Claude, I had to paste context about which company I was asking about, re-introduce my contacts, re-explain decisions we already made. It felt like talking to someone with amnesia.
So I built a local app that connects Claude Desktop to a personal database via MCP. Now when I ask "who are our top 5 paying customers?" or "what did we decide about pricing last quarter?", Claude answers from my actual data. Not from the internet. From my records.
Here's what it does:
ā Personal CRM ā contacts, companies, relationships, all searchable through conversation
ā Meeting notes and ideas ā log them by talking to Claude, search them later
ā Knowledge base ā articles, research, competitor data, connected and queryable
ā Permission-first ā Claude only writes when you explicitly say so
ā 100% local ā database on your machine, no cloud.
One thing that keeps coming back to me: AI closed the knowledge gap. Everyone has access to the same AI now. The difference between you and the next person is the data you control. Your contacts, your decisions, your context, your files. That's the only edge left. Second Brain is where that edge lives.
We've been using it internally for months. Now it's available to everyone.
Try it free for 7 days ā no credit card needed.
I'll be here all day answering questions. What would you store in your second brain?
