Hey everyone 👋

I didn’t start by building a Chrome extension — I started with a frustration:

AI is getting better, but my context isn’t.

Every time I switch between ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini:

1. My past conversations are stuck in silos
2. My useful insights are buried
3. And I have to re-explain things over and over again

It made me realize something:

👉 We don’t actually own our AI context.

That idea led me to write about “carrying your own context” (link here if you're curious), and Recall is the first step in that direction.

Recall is a simple Chrome extension that:

3. Gives you instant search across everything

But the real goal is bigger:

Everything in Recall is stored locally, so you control your data and can build on top of it.
