Hi everyone!
I'm Nicolas, a web developer from France. I’ve always enjoyed the tactical depth of Awale (Oware), so I decided to build a simple, clean web version of the game.
This project was a personal challenge: I wanted to see if I could create a smooth, responsive experience without any downloads, while implementing a custom AI engine using Minimax and MCTS algorithms. There are 8 levels, starting from a total beginner level to something a bit more challenging.
The French National Team has officially recognized the high performance of the Master level.
It's a work in progress and I'm still learning, so I'd be very grateful for your honest feedback. Whether it's about the UI, the difficulty of the AI, or if you spot any bugs, your insights would really help me improve.
