I've been using BrowserPod for a while now to run Node.js in the browser, rather than provisioning an expesnive server. Really helpful for smaller projects, tools and running AI projects.
Got first dibs on BrowserPod 2.0, which has been a huge QoL improvement for me. I clone lots of repos, and it comes with git. And as someone who use AI tools a lot bash has been a massive help, because AI constantly wants to use bash tools.
Only just started trying out the new frameworks it supports, but Vue runs amazingly well and I know it's got Next Nuxt and some others in the bag.
Proud to be part of the team behind this. I think that Bash is going to unlock a lot of possibilities. Can't wait to see what people build with it.
As the CTO of Leaning Technologies I see BrowserPod 2.0 as a great milestone. Running complete developer workflows, from `git clone` to `npm run dev` fully in the browser will enable a new generation of safe and cost effective browser-based developer tools.
And this is just a small step in our vision of making the browser the ultimate sandbox. Next steps: real-world agents in your tab, anywhere anytime.
