Hi Product Hunt community! Eyüphan here, Founder of u1social™. What inspired you to build this? As a father and someone who has spent years in the telecom industry, I began to feel a growing disconnect between the tools we use to stay "connected" and the actual safety of our private lives. I wanted a place where I could share a photo of my kids or a private thought without feeling like I was feeding a giant data-mining machine. I built u1social™ because I wanted a sanctuary for my own family, and I realized millions of others were looking for the same exit. What problem were you trying to solve? The "Product-User" paradox. In the current social media landscape, if you aren't paying, you are the product. This leads to toxic algorithms and privacy erosions. I wanted to solve the trust deficit in social networking by creating a member-supported model where our only stakeholders are the users themselves. How did your approach or process evolve while working on this launch? Initially, I thought about building just another "secure" app. But during the development of our Digital Endeavour, I realized that security is nothing without community and soul. My focus shifted from just "encryption" to "atmosphere"—how to use AI moderation to create a space that actually feels safe and constructive. We also realized that AI features shouldn't be a luxury, which led to our XP token system, allowing everyone to earn premium features through contribution.
