UI Automata is a desktop automation agent for Windows that converts high‑level English instructions into deterministic automation workflows. It lets any MCP‑compatible AI (Claude, etc.) interact with your desktop like a human: watch the screen, move the mouse, type text, press buttons, and extract data. Workflows are repeatable, auditable, and run with zero inference cost at runtime.

We built a workflow engine to make Windows automation far less brittle. You write simple, human‑readable YAML that says what to do, what to wait for, and how to recover if something goes wrong. The workflows are deterministic, auditable, and run locally so you don’t pay inference costs every time they execute.
The best part is you don’t have to hand‑author every step. Tell an AI agent a few high‑level instructions and it will draft the workflow for you, including the UI actions, expectations, and error handling. You can then compile it into a repeatable automation that behaves like a careful human operator: typing, clicking, copying, and navigating across any app or browser.
I’d love to hear from you:
What apps are you trying to automate: web apps, legacy desktop software, ERP systems, Excel, internal tools, or something else?
What blockers are you hitting: flaky selectors, timing issues, data extraction, or security concerns?
