Foragd is a web-based feed reader that lets you curate, and consume RSS, Atom, and other syndicated sources across devices. Responsive design works across mobile and desktop. Use powerful filtering by text, category, or author, full‑text search, favorites, and OPML import/export. Group feeds, save searches as subscriptions, and fetch full article content when feeds show summaries. Everything syncs in the cloud, with a single plan offering generous subscriptions and email newsletter inclusions.

👋 Hey Product Hunt!
I'm Josh and I built Foragd.
There are lots of feed readers out there. But they all tend to gravitate towards mimicking an email reader, with a two/three pane layout, unread counts, folders etc.
Why are they designed around what is ultimately a business-orientated, task-based UI? Why do I need unread counts of my feeds? Unread counts become meaningless when they hit the hundreds.
Then there is the organization. Folders don’t align how I think about organizing content. Often, something is both this and that.
Remember magazines? What about Social Media? They don’t have unread counts and strict folder organization. That’s moon-man business talk. These formats do one thing right; they have text that flows and a UI that focuses on the content itself.
I don’t want to be pressured into reading until the count is zero, I just want to read what I want to read, when I want. That's what Foragd is designed for.
Key Features:
- 😎 No pressure: no unread counts shown by default.
- 🔎 Powerful search: full-text search every subscription and article. Find that thing mentioned in that thing last week, easily.
- 🗃️ Flexible organization: organising content with categories should be natural, not rigid. Easily filter articles in subscriptions with simple +/- keywords/phrase matching.
- 🎨 Modern interface: no mimicking your email inbox. More akin to your kindle/e-reader. Big images, clear typography, dark/light themes.
- 🗺️Self discovery: no algorithms or recommendations. Ever.
RSS, Atom and syndicated formats might be having a bit of a renaissance, with folks interested in taking back control of what gets shown to them in their feeds. That's exactly what apps like Foragd provide; a way for you to choose, filter and manage content you are interested in, not what a company or service decide.
Foragd is a responsive web app, works everywhere on every device. More features planned such as semantic searching, turning any website into a feed and more.
Designed and coded by human hands.
