Here's the backstory: every time our friend group tried to plan a night out, it turned into the same exhausting routine. Someone suggests dinner. 30 messages fly by. Three people can't do Saturday. One person wants sushi, another wants tacos. Someone shares a Google Doc (?!). Eventually the thread dies and nothing happens.

We just wanted to hang out with our friends without a 45-minute planning session every time.

So we built GetTogether — a free group event planner that actually works the way friend groups communicate:
