Every time I wanted to: - understand something on a webpage - summarize content - or ask a quick question I had to do this loop: 👉 copy → switch tab → paste → ask → come back It completely broke my flow. And I kept thinking… “Why can’t the web just respond?” ⚡️ What I wanted to build Not another chatbot. But something that: 👉 understands what I’m looking at 👉 stays where I’m working 👉 and actually does things for me That’s where the idea of an AI that lives inside the browser came from. 🧠 How it evolved Initially, it was just: 👉 “chat with webpage” But quickly I realized — that’s not enough. So it evolved into something more powerful: ✨ Extracting insights (not just summaries) ⚡️ Performing actions on the page (this was the hardest + most fun part) 🎭 Different AI personas for different thinking styles 👁️ Understanding screenshots and UI 🎙️ Making interaction faster with commands & voice At some point, it stopped feeling like a feature… and started feeling like a new way to use the browser. 🚀 What it is now Current.ai turns browsing from: 👉 passive reading into: 👉 interactive + actionable experience This is just the beginning, and I’d genuinely love your feedback 🙌 What works?
