Hey PH, I made OpenClaw-MiroSearch because I kept feeling that a lot of agent stacks are good at “searching”, but not nearly good enough at verification. That matters a lot for OpenClaw-style workflows. If an agent can browse but can’t keep digging, compare sources, and check whether the evidence actually holds up, the final answer can still look polished while being shaky underneath. So I built OpenClaw-MiroSearch as an open-source retrieval layer designed for OpenClaw and similar agent systems. The focus is not just getting results back fast, but making deeper retrieval and source verification part of the workflow. What I cared about most while building it: - better fit for OpenClaw-style agent use - deeper retrieval instead of shallow one-pass search - cross-checking across multiple sources - verification before answering - programmable APIs and integration-friendly interfaces - better visibility into what the system is doing I’m building this as an independent developer, and my view is pretty simple: for agents, retrieval quality is important, but verification is what makes the output more trustworthy.
