Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Karan, the maker of Journi.
I built this because I was tired of my trips living as random photos in my camera roll with no context. I wanted something like Strava, but instead of tracking runs, it tracks your travels and turns them into something worth sharing.
The "aha" moment was our Japan trip. We had 500+ photos and no way to remember what we did on which day. So I built the AI photo import you drop in your photos and it builds the entire itinerary automatically from the metadata.
The other feature I'm really proud of is Live Trip mode. You literally just take photos while you're out, and Journi builds your trip as it happens. We used it for St. Patrick's Day in Chicago this past weekend and it worked beautifully.

The photo -> itinerary mapping is really nice. Me and my friends just put all our trip photos into one trip from different phones and it made our exact itinerary with cool descriptions. Definitely sharing this with our other friends :)
the UI feels nice here. Got plans for android?
Lowkey, this app is leaps beyond other apps I've downloaded in the space. Never been able to collaborate on travel itineraries like this!
