I’ve always been fascinated by how our genetics and heritage shape our physical features. While there are a few tools out there that try to estimate ancestry from photos, I found most of them to be cluttered with ads, overly complex, or just poorly designed.
I built Origins to change that. It’s a simple, clean, and premium mobile app that uses advanced AI to analyze your facial phenotypes. It provides a beautifully designed, shareable breakdown of your ancestral roots in seconds.
My goal was to focus entirely on user experience and the aesthetics of data visualization. It was designed to spark curiosity, provide entertainment, and initiate conversations about ethnicity.
