I built LingoChat because after 7 years living in Spain and traveling a lot for work, I’m still terrible at learning languages. I kept running into situations where I just needed a quick conversation — at my kids’ football matches, meeting people locally, or during business trips abroad. Translation apps were slow and awkward. So I built something simpler: scan a QR code and start an instant translated chat, no apps or accounts required.

Hello Everyone,

I built LingoChat because after 7 years living in Spain and traveling a lot for work, I m still terrible at learning languages. I kept running into situations where I just needed a quick conversation at my kids football matches, meeting people locally, or during business trips abroad. Translation apps were slow and awkward. So I built something simpler: scan a QR code and start an instant translated chat, no apps or accounts required.
