Synrix is a local-first memory engine for software systems that need persistent runtime state. Most AI agents and long-running programs rely on vector databases, Redis, or cloud storage to remember things. That introduces latency, infrastructure overhead, and nondeterministic recall. Synrix takes a different approach. It acts like a persistent runtime memory layer that runs directly inside your application. State updates are written in microseconds and survive crashes, restarts, and power loss. Instead of rebuilding context or replaying logs, your system can resume exactly where it left off. This makes Synrix useful for systems like: AI agents and autonomous workflows Robotics and edge software Simulations and long-running processes High-frequency runtime state logging We built Synrix to explore a simple idea: software systems should be able to remember their internal state the same way databases remember data. The project is early and experimental, and we are looking for feedback from engineers working on AI infrastructure, agents, robotics, or other stateful systems.
