I'm a Software Engineering student and I build and ship a lot of side projects. When you're moving fast and trying to get something live, security is honestly the first thing that gets pushed aside. You tell yourself you'll come back to it, and then you never do. After shipping a few sites and realizing I had zero visibility into what vulnerabilities I was actually leaving exposed, I decided to do something about it. I wanted to keep moving fast on the building side while having something that could handle the security review automatically on whatever I had running in production. So I built VigilFlux!
