Bot Hound: AI-powered bot blocker for X (Twitter) Most bot blockers use rigid rules like "fewer than 50 followers = bot." That misses sophisticated fakes and flags real people. Bot Hound uses AI to analyze tweets, bios, and behavior, catching bots that rule-based tools miss. Scans new followers automatically every 15 minutes Review every detection or switch to auto-block Detects impersonation of your username/profile 14-day free trial, $5/mo Every follower list needs a guard dog.

Hey Product Hunt! I built Bot Hound because my own X account kept accumulating bot followers - they spam your replies, inflate your numbers, attract even more bots, and make your threads look sketchy to real people.
Existing tools will tell you an account might be a bot, but then you're left manually blocking hundreds of profiles one by one. Bot Hound closes that loop: it classifies followers using AI (analyzing their tweets, profile metadata, and even checking for impersonation), then blocks the confirmed bots for you.
A few things that make it different:
- Always-on monitoring - not a one-time scan. Every new follower gets checked automatically.
- Review mode by default - you approve every block before it happens. Turn on auto-block when you're comfortable.
- Deep classification - it reads actual tweet content, not just follower/following ratios. Catches sophisticated bots that pass surface-level checks.
- Purge mode - clean out bots that followed you months or years ago, not just new ones.
- Bot Check other accounts - sample and scan their followers with shareable reports.
- 14-day free trial - see what it finds before you pay anything.
Would love to hear your feedback, especially from anyone dealing with bot followers on X. What would make this more useful for you?
