I built MarkItUp because I kept spending way too long making promotional visuals for my projects. Every time I had a cool screenshot, turning it into something share-worthy meant firing up Figma or Canva and spending 30+ minutes tweaking layouts and copy. I wanted something where I could just upload a screenshot, say what mattered, and get back polished marketing images instantly. The two-step AI approach was key — having one pass analyze and write the copy, then a second pass generate the actual visual, gave way better results than trying to do it all at once.
