I created a new site tracking AI events, open questions, and live debates (using Github PRs & issues): aihistoricunfolding.com github.com/Deva-me-AI/AI-History-in-the-Making AI landscape moving too fast to track? AI fatigue hitting you hard? It's astounding how fast these open questions get resolved. All content lives in JSON files. Disagree with something? Open an issue. Have evidence a question is resolved? Submit a PR. What gets merged becomes the record.

What inspired you to build this?
As someone building in AI, I've been tracking open questions and debates over the last few years.
What problem were you trying to solve?
These get discussed in private convos and public spaces, but there's no easy way to see all the material events and status of consensus for debates and open questions.
Luckily, Github issues and pull requests are perfect for this.
So this site just uses Github as a backend and forum to engage in debate and resolve to consensus.
How did your approach or process evolve?
I honestly was just discussing these events and debates in private chats (e.g. https://x.com/truejaian/status/2...).
I'm sure a bunch of people are doing this all over the world. My brain got tired of tracking these.
So it just makes sense for some sort of open-source way to have these conversations.
I vibe coded this site over the last few hours.
