Hey everyone, I'm Ben! I built Joey because I wanted to use MCP tools on my phone and nothing out there did that. I've been using remote MCP servers a lot lately and got frustrated that most clients are desktop only. And the big players that do support MCP lock it behind monthly subscriptions. I just wanted something where I could bring my own OpenRouter account, pay per use, and connect to whatever remote MCP servers I need. So I spent the last month and a half building this. It's a Flutter app that runs on iOS, Android, and macOS. You sign in with OpenRouter, pick whatever model you want, connect your remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP, and go.
