NGN – AI Audio Transcription: Real-time subtitles & translation for any browser video

Hey everyone! 👋 I built NGN because I was frustrated with watching foreign content online and having no easy way to get subtitles. Existing tools either don't work on most sites, have huge delays, or cost way too much. I wanted something that just works - click a button on ANY website and get instant translated subtitles right on the video. No uploads, no waiting, no complicated setup. The trickiest part was getting the subtitle timing right. Nobody wants to read choppy word-by-word text, so I built a Netflix-style buffering engine that shows clean, complete sentences with smooth animations. It's fully open source, runs at ~$0.12/hour via Soniox API, and supports 61 languages including Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese and more.
